a few weeks ago i went to anthroexpo, and i did a dj set there. they provided a free hotel room which was part of why i took the opportunity to go there. the set went alright. i had brought this laptop that i had years ago, was sitting around for years because the keyboard was broken and other things, but i starteed fixing it a few months ago. really came in handy considering i had no fucking idea how to process my songs for their in-house cdjs. but yknow, i wanted to have something to spend my time in the hotel room, so i put on some samples and stuff along with a few programs.. in this case, i used audiomulch for the first 2 tracks and "bavarian junglist" then fl studio 3.4 for the last one. older version of audiomulch too, i've gotten a (slightly) newer version that i like more, this one was just like 0.7 which barely had anything. "jerryatric" was done in mixxx 2.36, cos that was the latest version that supported windows 7. it has a really awful pitch shifter that sounds amazing. this had a few more tracks on it, including the original version of "mel kaiser megamix" and a couple really bad kid606 remixes all of which were done in mixxx. i generally like this ep. it's neat.
